Simple summary: Cricket Scoreboard App is a cricket scoring utility. Based on the current app code, it stores cricket match, team, player, live match, and settings data locally on the user’s device. It does not include login, account creation, payment collection, ads SDK, analytics SDK, contact access, SMS access, camera access, microphone access, or location access.

1. Who we are

Cricket Scoreboard App is published as an app under Rajasv. This Privacy Policy applies to the Cricket Scoreboard App mobile application and the related app information page hosted on the Rajasv website or subdomain.

2. Information the app lets you create

The app is designed to help users score cricket matches. Users may enter cricket-related information such as:

Team data

Team name, short name, team color, player IDs, and creation time.

Player data

Player name, role, batting style, bowling style, and creation time.

Match and score data

Match records, batting score, over details, ball events, wickets, match result, and live match state.

App settings

Dark mode, super over option, default overs, auto save, sound, vibration, single-player batting, and wide-ball run settings.

This information is used only to run the scoreboard features inside the app.

3. Where this information is stored

Based on the current code, the app stores its data as JSON files inside the app’s local application data directory on the user’s device. The local files include:

The app uses local storage for saving and loading this data. We do not claim that this data is uploaded to Rajasv servers, because the current code does not show any server upload, user account, or cloud-sync feature.

5. Permissions used by the Android app

The current Android manifest requests the following permissions:

The app does not request permissions for contacts, SMS, location, camera, microphone, calendar, phone state, or external storage in the current Android manifest.

6. How we use app data

Data entered in the app is used to provide cricket scoring functionality, including team management, player management, live scoring, match history, app preferences, and auto-save behavior.

Local data may also help restore a live match or saved settings when the app is reopened.

7. Data sharing

Based on the current app code, Cricket Scoreboard App does not share locally saved scoreboard data with Rajasv servers or third-party services. If a future version adds cloud backup, login, analytics, ads, sharing, or online sync, this Privacy Policy should be updated before release.

8. Data retention and deletion

Cricket scoring data and settings remain on the user’s device until the user deletes the data inside the app, clears app storage, or uninstalls the app. The app’s local storage service includes functions to save, load, and delete local files.

9. Children’s privacy

The app is a general cricket scoring utility and is not designed to knowingly collect personal information from children. Since the current app does not include account creation or online personal data collection, children’s personal information is not intentionally collected by the app.

10. Security

The app stores data locally in the app data directory provided by the operating system. Users should keep their device protected with screen lock and updated system software. No method of storage is completely risk-free, but the current app avoids unnecessary collection of sensitive personal data.

11. Changes to this policy

We may update this Privacy Policy when the app changes. Any updated version should be published on this page with a new effective date. If new features such as online account login, cloud backup, analytics, advertisements, or payments are added, this policy must be updated to explain those changes.
